Where it all started

Lake Austin is my playground, my backyard, my office, and my home.

When I was 9, my brother Ben helped me gain the confidence to try wakeboarding again. I fell in love with it. But a couple years later, Ben started talking about wakesurfing. Not many locals knew much about this sport but Ben was really excited about it so we started experimenting. Before fat sacs, we used dumbbells and gym weights to make our wave bigger. We demoed different boards and learned about wave set up. We knew this was the start of something really cool. I instantly connected with the sport and found it as an outlet to express my childhood dreams of being a surfer.

After over 10 years of wakesurfing, I am still inspired to push the limits and go bigger. My goal is to be a catalyst for growth within this very special surf community. I hope to inspire the new generations of surfers and encourage newcomers to ride the wave!
